ScoreReport.net Quick Start Guide

Step 1: Create Your League

Use this link: Create New League
  • Fill in what you want for the league name, and choose a URL (letters and numbers only). These can be changed later.
  • Bookmark your league's new page.
  • From your league's page, click "Admin" in the top menu to access the Administriation menu.

Click on "League Settings" to set values for:

Name: Your League's Name

URL: Your League's base URL

Cost: The fee for players to join your league. Payments can be set to go directly to your league's Google Checkout account. ScoreReport.net charges $1 per registration. Contact Rodney at scorereport@gmail.com for details.

Current Admins: To become the league's administrator, sign in using the "Sign In" button in the top menu bar, then Check this box. After you are an administrator, you can enter other email addresses to assign more administrators.

Access Limits: Choose who is allowed to perform various actions.

Step 2: Customize Your Registration Form

Next, from the Admin menu, choose "Edit Registration Form".

Use the check boxes to select common registration items.
Add as many extra registration questions as you like by filling in the bottom line of the form, and clicking Submit.
Delete the "Prompt" text to remove a question.

The registration form will be available immediately.
Click on "Join League" in the top menu to test your registration form.

Step 3: Add Field Sites

  • From the Admin menu, choose "Scheduling" to access the scheduling menu.
  • Click "Edit Sites", and submit the name and address of a field site to add.
  • Click the "Edit" link for a site to edit the field map.
    • If needed, use the Google Search bar in the bottom left of the map and scroll the map to find your site.
    • Click on the map to add a field.
    • Using the form below the map, edit the field's number, orientation, and dimensions (in yards).
    • Drag the field number marker to move the field.
    • When finished, pan and zoom the map to where you want it to display, and click "Save".

Step 4: Scheduling

  • Go back to the scheduling menu, and click "Edit Rounds".
  • Add any round time's that will be used for league games.
  • Click "Edit Teams" on the scheduling menu, and add some teams to the league. You can add or remove teams later.
  • A chart of game slots will become available after fields and rounds have been added.
    To schedule pool play:
    • Highlight a group of game slots in the game chart. Make sure to select enough free slots to fit in all pool games.
    • Select all teams to be included in the pool.
    • Click "Add Round Robin".
  • To schedule a bracket:
    • Highlight the desired game slots and click "Add Bracket". For example: for a quarterfinal bracket you need to highlight 4 slots in one round, 2 in a later round, and 1 slot later for the final.
    • Click "Add Bracket".

Existing pools and brackets will have a link on the scheduling page to edit or delete.
